Shimano has outdone itself with the Sahara fishing reels. This line of fishing tackle is designed with the serious angler in mind. It is the first Shimano spinning reel to offer a 6.0:1 gear ratio, but it's a very affordable reel that still contains all of features for which Shimano is known.

To enhance the smoothness, the Power Roller on the Sahara is coated with Titanium. They also feature Fluidrive II, which is a large master gear polished by using a wrapping process, making winding smooth and effortless.
